Abstract

In the aforesaid work the author has tried to put forward the Nexus between the social media platforms and the pertinent politics round the world. Social media has become a key source of information between all the activities going on around the world and the authorities regulating those activities. When we talk about social media the only thing that comes in our mind is that it provides entertainment to the public, but in the actual senses social media has become the most powerful manifesto presenting the know how's of the government and the democracy. Bertrand Russell, in his work- new hopes for a changing world , writes "our great democracies still tend to think that a stupid man is more likely to be honest than a clever man and our politicians take advantage of this project dice by pretending to be even more stupid than nature made them".

The world relies on Democracy, this is not an overstatement. If anything, it is understating the importance of democracy as the only true successful form of Government. The government tends to regulate the social media for the intent of its publicity and propaganda of their achievements, on the other hand it becomes a jackhammer for the people who can put forward their opinion on different topics, activities and information provided by the politicians. Inscribing social media is however useful to know about the functionality of the political spare and how they communicate with the people. In the era of internet, social media is very easily scalable by the people, they can turn the government down just by putting up their opinion, thoughts and criticism about the ruling political party, democracy is the flambeau for the people in the darkness of the flamboyant political scenario and social media is the torch bearer for both.
