A REVIEW ON BLOCKCHAIN SECURITY ISSUES AND CHALLENGES

Blockchain can be identified as the most growing technology in the information technology (IT) field during current days. Blockchain acts as distributed, verified, secure and dependable decentralized database system which are handled by using many nodes. Initially, they had applications in cryptocurrency and electronic cash, but now there are lots of other applications like financial transactions, medical healthcare, insurance, Internet of Things, manufacturing and education which demonstrates flexible skills and capabilities. During the past times, there were been public discussions and announcements that covered on blockchain’s objectives, collaboration, advancement and deployment strategies. Due to this, the attention towards addressing issues such as security, policies and challenges were awaked all over the world. This article is made by analyzing 6 research papers focusing on blockchain security issues. Some of the major concepts given in this review paper are blockchain ecosystems, it’s classification, implementation methods, and key security challenges. This review aims to give a meaningful information to the researchers by getting deep into blockchain technology, especially regarding on it’s security issues and future enhancements
